I had exactly the same experience as you…. and I finally came to terms with it through googling! I was diagnosied coeliac 2 years ago this week…. make sure you check out all the online forums and other GF blogs for support… and join the association!

Make sure you do get diagnosed properly though as there are many other long term health impacts of removing a food group from your diet, and you will need to see a dietician (well you do in the UK!).

The weight thing was the same for me too and after eating gluten free for just 3 months I lost a 5 kgs! I am the healthiest I have ever been. Check out my blog too about gluten free living (in India at the moment!!)

I’ve heard that Samhain sends out form rejections to everyone now because some crazy author went nuts on her blog over a letter they gave with detailed feedback to help her rewrite it so now they give feedback to no one.

I am so proud of you!!!

On my plate? Hmmm> FIND A JOB. (two in the works, hoping to land one in the next week or so.) Move into my own place.

THEN – go through Ripping off the Bandaid and do a first pass edit on it. Finish writing the book proposal. Take out my screenplay and do a polish on that and send it back to Hollywood on a wing and a prayer. Map out the rest of Cold Feet– I know where its going overall, need to do a detailed outline. Take my short story Ticklish and write a short film script and go about the process of trying to shoot that as a 15-20 minute short film and submit it to festivals.

So yeah, a little bit on my plate. Not to mention proposals I am wriitng for blogging gigs.

First- A Job. Then – An apartment and dog. Then – I tackle it all full steam ahead.

San Francisco has some greatest restaurants and places to see.
